Difference with Marseille pastis ?
Le Pastis d’Avignon differs from its Marseille cousin by its subtle aromas from hill herbs skilfully distilled by Maison Manguin. Each note of this pastis will evoke holiday memories, hill, of Sun, hiking in the garrigue or pine forest in the Alpilles.
Pastis : the star aperitif in Provence !
This typical Provençal aperitif based on green anise extracts, star anise, of liquorice and fennel remains the favorite drink of all those who live or come to Provence. Pastis d'Avignon is both subtle and refreshing.
How to properly serve a Pastis d'Avignon ?
The rules are clear on this and we will be uncompromising : the ice cubes start at the end ! Why ? The pastis flakes in contact with the cold, it is therefore necessary in order to put 2cl of Pastis, add to it 5 to 7 volumes of water, then 1 or 2 ice cubes. The Pastis then becomes cloudy and takes on a beautiful milky color..

Pastis can be used to make sumptuous cocktails, ideal for an aperitif with friends under a crazy dodger, provide arbor or parasol !
