Blend of Syrah – Cabernet Sauvignon – Grenache, this organic red is a safe bet. Sustained color with garnet red reflections. Nez : the first notes are spicy, cocoa and pepper are reminiscent of aging in barrels, then give way to delicate aromas of black fruit. Bouche : warm, round and structured. Silky tannins and a very ripe cherry finish.

Food and wine pairings: veal chop roasted in meat juice, rosemary, mashed potatoes.

Terroir of Château Margüi

Château Margüi is ideally located in the heart of Provence (Haut-Var).
For thousands of years, 3 natural springs nourish a fertile land that men have been exploiting since the 11th century BC. Clay-limestone soils, the diversity of the flora and the altitude (300m) give the vines planted on hillsides, a rich and pure terroir, giving wines of great finesse.
In the vineyard, Château Margüi opts for organic farming, manual harvesting and deliberately controlled yields.
