Description

AOP Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence, Chateau Virant, Owner-Grower, Sandeel of Provence (13).

Tasting

Sustained dress. Its powerful and balanced nose with aromas of red fruits in jam, its few notes of cocoa, of garrigue and liquorice make it a structured and powerful product, with well-melted fine tannins.

Winemaking

Old vines on very arid hillsides, pre-fermentation maceration at 15°, fermentation between 18 et 22°, long maceration (4 weeks).
