Tasting
Of a purple color, intense and with ruby ​​reflections, you will discover on the nose complex very woody aromas and subtle aromas of red fruits, prunes and vanilla, but also a slight aroma of roasted coffee and undergrowth. In mouth, this red wine is complex, generous with strong notes of morello cherry, subtle notes of spices, vanilla and leather. Its tannin is elegant, fin, supple with a powerful body and long persistence.
To be enjoyed with meats in sauce such as bull stews, wild boar, game, coq au vin or cheese.
Terroir
The vines are located in the commune of Rognes, in the heart of Provence. Domain of 45 hectares, in sustainable agriculture, under the AOP Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence appellation.
- 40 % Cabernet Sauvignon,
- 45 % Syrah,
- 15 % Grenache.
Vinification and aging
The wines of the Domaine de Naïs are produced in reasoned culture. The harvest is mechanical. The elaboration of the wine is done by total destemming and fermentation in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats. Fermentation is malolactic, classic vinification and pre-fermentation cold maceration.
