Melon balls and watermelon with basil
Nothing like a refreshing salad to start a summer meal. This recipe combines the sweetness of watermelon, the saltiness of feta and the freshness of mint, all enhanced with olive oil
Ingredients :
- 1/4 watermelon 🍉
- 1 Cavaillon melon
- 1 melon vert 🍈
- 100g crumbled feta
- 1 citron🍋
- 1/2 orange 🍊
- 1 citron vert
- 4 basil leaves 🌿
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil Provençal Box
- Salt and pepper from the mill
Preparation :
- Cut the melons in half, remove the seeds and scoop out the bills using a melon baller. Do the same with the watermelon.
- Cut the feta into small cubes.
- Remove the fruit balls and feta into a salad bowl;
- Mix the olive oil in a bowl
- Drizzle generously with olive oil Provençal Box with lemon and orange juice. Salt and pepper moderately. Add 4 chopped basil leaves.
- Pour the marinade over the balls and feta. Leave to cool for an hour.
- Arrange the very fresh balls in the glasses with a little marinade.
- Decorate with lime.
Cherry tomato bruschettas, basil and olive oil
These bruschettas are perfect for a sunny aperitif. Simple and quick to prepare, they highlight the authentic flavors of the Mediterranean.
Ingredients :
- 1 baguette cut into slices 🥖
- 200g of cherry tomatoes cut in half 🍅
- A few fresh basil leaves 🌿
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil Provençal Box
- 1 garlic clove 🧄
- Salt and pepper
Preparation :
- Toast the baguette slices in the oven or toaster.
- Rub each slice with a halved garlic clove.
- Arrange the cherry tomatoes on the slices of bread.
- Add a few basil leaves.
- Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve immediately.
Cucumber and avocado gazpacho with olive oil
For a fresh and creamy starter, try this original gazpacho. Olive oil brings a velvety touch to this cold soup.
Ingredients
- 2 cucumbers peeled and cut into pieces 🥒
- 2 ripe avocados 🥑
- 1 garlic clove 🧄
- The juice of a lime
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil Provençal Box
- Salt and pepper
Preparation
- In a blender, mix the cucumbers, the lawyers, garlic and lime juice until smooth.
- Add the olive oil and mix again.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving chilled.
